You can head into Gin Gin for a round of golf, visit the Saturday markets or grab a bite to eat at one of the local pubs.
Visit the Historical Museum or the Courthouse Art Gallery. Visit the Boolboonda tunnel which houses tiny wing bats and is the longest unsupported manmade tunnel in the southern hemisphere or take a drive to Goodnight Scrub National Park and enjoy the wildlife or do some bushwalking.
Lake Monduran is well known for its Barramundi fishing but for those not into fishing there is a walking track that is 6kms one way, great for spotting the many species of wildlife found in this area.
We have board games and DVD's for loan from the office and if you are feeling energetic we have a volleyball net set up and ready to go. There is also plenty of space for a game of cricket or soccer or just sit back and relax in the peaceful bush setting.
It is just under an hours drive to Bundaberg where you can take a
tour of the Rum Distillery, take a cruise along the Burnett river
or just do a spot of shopping after which you will return to the peaceful
and relaxing surrounds of Lake Monduran Holiday Park.

North East Loop – Rosedale, Baffle Creek, Agnes Waters, Lowmead
Lake Monduran to Rosedale. Distance = 37.9 km, Time= 57 minutes
This drive has a bit of everything to offer with beautiful country
landscapes, pristine waterways and untouched surf beaches, the roads
are a combination of sealed, graded dirt and sandy roads. A 4WD drive
is only necessary for the sandy section and there is a different route
that can bypass this road.

Rosedale to Baffle Creek. Distance = 20.2 km, Time = 45 minutes.
Rosedale is a little town with a great little hotel over 100 yrs old,
the town has the markets on every Wednesday morning and has fresh
produce, crafts and nic nacs.

Baffle Creek to Agnes Waters. Distance = 47.97km, Time= 49
minutes.
Baffle Creek has a number of shops and a new Tavern on the waterfront.
The Baffle Creek estuary system is 157klms long and is one of two
estuaries in Queensland classed as pristine. If you have a 4WD head
north towards the town of 1770, this drive will take you through the
Deepwater National Park along a sandy track to the beautiful Agnus
Waters
The drive from Baffle Creek to Agnes Waters has 3 stops, each stop has a carpark and a track that will lead you to beautiful sandy beaches. Once you are in 1770/Agnus Waters enjoy the waterfront cafes, shopping and beaches, this place is a great stop for lunch or afternoon tea.
Agnes Waters to Lowmead. Distance = 50.22km, Time= 44minutes.

Lowmead to Lake Monduran Holiday Park. Distance 61.6 km, Time
=1 hour & 17 minutes.
Lowmead is another one of those sleepy little towns with loads of
character.

South West Loop- Boolboonda Tunnel, Mount Perry, Gin Gin, Wonbah Wineries

Lake Monduran to Boolboonda Tunnel. Distance = 52.48kms, Time = 55 minutes.

Boolboonda Tunnel to Mount Perry. Distance = 20.24, Time=
15minutes
The Boolboonda Tunnel was carved out of the mountain side in the 1800s
and was the largest man made self supporting tunnels in the southern
hemisphere, it was constructed to carry gold and copper by rail from
the surrounding mines to the shipping docks of Bundaberg. The tunnel
is now home to a colony of Bentwing Bats and if you take a torch and
look towards the ceiling you will see hundreds of them.

Mount Perry to Gin Gin. Distance=52.88kms, Time= 40 minutes
Mt Perry was once a thriving mining town with a population of 30000
people, and now has a population of 300, places to visit , the museum,
masonic lodge, wolca pottery, St Patricks church and the local hotel.
